Kameelperd (Giraffe) Class
Reaching New Heights (Ages 2-3 Years)
Fostering Early Development in the Giraffe Class
At Lekker Land Preschool, our Kameelperd (Giraffe) Class is tailored for children aged 2 to 3 years, focusing on nurturing their early developmental milestones. We provide a warm and engaging environment where young learners feel safe to explore and express themselves, laying the foundation for lifelong learning.
What Our 2-3-Year-Olds Learn
- Holistic Development: Activities are designed to promote well-being, identity, and a sense of belonging, ensuring children feel valued and connected.
- Communication Skills: Through interactive sessions, children enhance their ability to express themselves and understand others, building a strong foundation for language development.
- Creativity and Exploration: Engagement in sensory play and artistic activities stimulates curiosity and imagination, allowing children to explore new tastes, smells, and textures
- Mathematical Thinking: Introduction to basic mathematical concepts through playful activities encourages early cognitive development and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding the World: Children are guided to observe and make sense of their surroundings, fostering awareness and appreciation of the environment
Our Approach
We believe in integrating integrity, safety, and edutainment into our
teaching methods, ensuring that each child receives a holistic education
that balances learning with play. Our approach is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, which views children as active participants in their learning journey, encouraging exploration and discovery.
